How the PM Laptop Scheme 2024 is Empowering Students Across the Nation

For the next generation, the Laptop Scheme provides laptops to students, helping them control education challenges and qualify for success.

Importance of laptops for students in Higher Education:

A laptop in the hands of students is like a weapon. A college or university-level student cannot think of achieving a degree without a laptop. With the help of this technology, he or she will be able to record his or her class lecture and comfortably prepare notes and presentations. This smart technology helps students to reach the treasure of knowledge related to their study program(the subject in which they seek a degree program).

The discoveries and innovations related to a particular field enable students to compete with the rest of the world. Our students would not be able to stand against international standards, both as an educational degree or work experience, if they do not have easy access to new research and development in various fields through modern information systems. The laptop is a viable and reliable solution that can take the students to the top.

Laptop Distribution:

The Laptop Prize Distribution Scheme started in 2011. The laptops are distributed among the students who have scored 60% marks in the annual examination system or 70% in the semester system.

Every year, laptops are provided to 100,000 brilliant students in public sector colleges and universities across Punjab or high achievers of the Boards of Punjab in Matriculation Examinations. The main objective of this scheme is to help students rise above the problems and hurdles they face in their endeavors to acquire education, knowledge, and professional excellence.

Prime Minister Laptop Scheme:

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, started the Laptop Scheme. The Scheme focuses on providing laptops to worthy students studying in Public and semi-public universities throughout Pakistan. The goal is to close the gap between people with an approach to technology and those without.
